Celebrating food and our relationship with it, this exhibition challenged me to use my developing creative voice in for me a rather different direction.  I wanted to have fun with the idea of using and of course reusing food packaging, aspects of our throw away society.  I used the packaging from lovely cheese and created Fabric Fromage which of course needed to go with chips and peas...My chips were seeds from a recent trip to Chile and the peas turned into beans from Morocco.  Using the seeds from other countries helped me make my point; do we really know where are food comes from? What's the environmental impact of our choices?  We want our children to have a good, varied diet, but at what cost to the planet?
