The Crackle Collection

After time spent in Sussex gardens and woods, and through listening exercises attuned to the sounds of birds and leaves, this collection began to emerge. Here, my focus shifts from sea to trees, with the landscape of the woodland leading the work.

Mark making and colour take centre stage in these sensitive pieces, building expressive surfaces shaped by rhythm, observation, and place. The inclusion of real wood in some works deepens the connection to nature, grounding the work in its material presence and quiet power.
