Using, recycled, repurposed, hand dyed and manipulated fabrics in combination with natural materials, these hand embroidered pieces are either mounted on varnished dried bark or set in a grid enclosed within a frame. The series seeks to captivate whilst also encouraging discussions on environment and our role within in it.  The inclusion of dried thorns is symbolic of the fragile nature of our environment and the expected change of seasons.
